ENSAV APPLICATION 2018 / 2019

For Erasmus or international students who are interested in joining our exchange program at ENSAV, you must be selected by your home university as an exchange student. Please read carefully the following information.

APPLICATION PROCESS

E-nomination
We need to receive your official nomination from your home university. Your home exchange coordinator must complete the ENSAV e-nomination procedure here below

Application form
Once we receive the official e-nomination, an application procedure will be sent at your personal e-mail address. You must complete all the fields and enclose the required documents.

Learning agreement
You will also be asked to choose a selection of courses and workshops that you wish to take during your study stay at ENSAV. Download and complete the learning agreement according to the semester program you will be attending. Once completed, it has to be approved and signed by the international office of your home university.

Language level
A certificate that proves your level in French is required (does not apply to French native speaker students). It can be either an international language certificate (DILF, DELF of at least B1) or a proof issued by your home university.

 

Accommodation
ENSAV can arrange exchange students’ subscription for university residence halls in collaboration with the CROUS (Centre régional des oeuvres universitaires et scolaires), French student welfare organisation in Versailles :

Students are asked to fill in the document here below with 2 choices of residence hall (the 2nd choice is optional).

DEADLINES FOR APPLICATIONS AT ENSAV
  • Fall semester/academic year : June 30th 2018

  • Spring semester : November 9th 2018

 

EXCHANGE ACCEPTANCE

If you provide us with all the required documents and complete them correctly, we will confirm your Learning Agreement and issue the Letter of Acceptance for you (within 3 weeks of the receipt of your documents). Both documents will be sent back to you and to your exchange coordinator at home university.

 

FORMALITY FOR NON EUROPEAN STUDENTS

Student long-stay visa : VLS-TS

  • Student VLS-TS as Visa Long Séjour valant Titre de Séjour mention étudiant stands for: student long-stay visa constituting a residency permit. This visa allows you to study in France for a period of four months to one year. When it expires, you must request a residency permit to be able to remain in France. It gives you the right to travel freely in the countries in the Schengen area.

  • How to obtain your VLS-TS?
    You must contact the French consular authorities in your country of residence and request the "Studying in France" procedure to apply for a student long-stay visa. In the three months following your arrival in France, you must have your student long-stay visa validated by the OFII, (Office Français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration) the French Office of Immigration and Integration.

     

WHEN DO YOU HAVE TO BE AT ENSAV

Recommended date of arrival
It is up to the exchange students to decide for their date of arrival. But we highly recommend that you arrive in France one or two weeks before the beginning of your studies in order to settle in properly.

Welcome Meeting Day
ENSAV will organize a Welcome Meeting Day for incoming exchange students which, each year officially coincide with the opening seminar of Bachelor3 and Master1 degree. During this week, exchange students will be able to attend this seminar of information concerning each course and project. You can also meet the entitled professors of workshop and discuss with them. Just at the beginning of September more information will be sent to your personal email concerning this date.
